Well, I visited Foça and came across a breeder of doves – and he showed me the little ones…

Awww! Look at the beak and the claws. This bird is kind of like that French word jolie-laid, pretty-ugly. What a wonderful pic.

No, I met a professional breeder – he held the pigeon and I took the picture…

Well, the guy was only raising doves – but I’m not an expert on birds – so a vulture might have slipped in the nursery…

Yes, it is rare to see such a young bird.
I met a guy in Turkey once who nursed doves and showed me some of his “babies”.
