Terrific treatment of the image–the monochrome with color emphasis on the balloons. Well done.

It’s simply beautiful! The lightness of floating, the hope and escape…as opposed to being rooted to the earth, colorless, a factotum-robbed of seeing-bound to survive in black&white. Bravo!

A great image, made finer by selective colouring. I am tempted to use it in a blog post.

Just another excellent visual poetry using photography by Rabirus,
Are you fond of Jafar Panahi’s The white baloon, maybe ?

Thank you for the compliment.
I have to admit, I’ve never seen The White Balloon. Is it a good movie?

Dear Rabirus, we’re suspect to tell you: The White Balloon is an amazing movie, that has won a Cannes award. You can watch it here, with subtitles in English:

The movie images are amazing. And its simple story has unexpected humanistic echoes.
The version we referred you to has subtitles in English, but there’s a little difficulty to read them. You’ll have to find the Transcript button in its Youtube page.
Sorry, but we could not find another version, with the subtitles shown in the movie as usual.
Thanks for your kindness.
