      Yes, I wanted to make it look antique, because it is the feeling I always have when I visit Mardin – it’s like being transported back in time.

  1. Well now, the Tiger is beautiful but he pale’s into a kind of insignificance walking by that grand fortress – the power of the Tiger is overshadowed by the safety the fortress evokes 😀

    • Well, at first I also thought he needs to be placed more prominently – but then decided against it. The tiger should secretly prowl through the city, looking for prey.

    • Well, this one was not so much experimenting, because I basically knew everything I wanted to do when I started to work on the picture.
