The Ararat as such is already an impressive mountain – but with the monastery in the foreground it looks even more gigantic.

The Little Ararat is 3896 metres above sea level and is situated 11 kilometres away from the Great Ararat.

…well, I didn’t know the numbers…
…but I really like them both because they are not part of some mountain rage and therefore you can see them looming majestically over the land.
