Mining in a dark world beneath the feet of those working in the light. Great use of thought and art, rabirius.
Thank you, Lance.
You’re very welcome, rabirius.
That’s an awful job! Great shot, Rabirus. 🙂 🙂
Yes, indeed it must be.
Thank you, Johanna.
Erg moeilijk werken lijkt het mij
If not for your title, I’d have assumed it was a homeless man sleeping in an abandoned burrow. Lordy! What a sad job!
Yes, indeed. Thank you, Kim.
it silence me
Yes, this is the effect when you learn how mining worked – and still works in some places.
I’m in the cave
I’m the cave
It’s probably like some cave house, I guess.
Ah, okay. 🙂
a bit spooky…
That looks just miserable Rabirius. You captured the misery of the job perfectly
Yes, that was the intention.
This is an emotionally wrenching image, Rabirius. Terrific work.
Thank you very much, Jane.
Great shot 🙂
This photo left me speechless. Very thought-provoking and haunting. As always, thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much. I’m glad you like the photo.
Your images are always stunning and thoughtful. I can re-visit your work and come away with a different message each time.
Thank you very much for your kind words.
Ein harter Job, für uns heute unvorstellbar. Liebe Grüsse Ernst
Ja, vielen Dank.
Images like this make me thankful for the fortunate life that I have. Great work, Rabirius.
Yes, they do.
Thank you for your compliments.
A great picture, My grandfather was a miner all his life from age 14 to 65 he worked below ground in the coal mines. The days of pick and shovel and pit ponies.. He would work often knee deep in water and suffered terribly with Arthritis and Rheumatism in later years…
His escape was his allotment.. ( he taught me a lot about gardening)
Wishing you a great weekend ❤
Yes, this is a hard job – and I guess in some parts of the world it still is done with pick and shovel and without the use of modern technology.
Have a great weekend as well!
Yes I am certain it is.. Hope your weekend went well, 🙂
It was. I hope yours was as well.
Thank you, It was perfect.. As this one will be, ENOY yours too rabirius 😀
You captured well the lot of a truly toiling man and his fatigue.
Good one, Rabirius 🙂
Thanks a lot, Eric.
