That’s one hell of a wrought iron gate!

Yes, and it guards a statue of Justitia – or Lady Justice.

Superb post.I feel so bad when l see musicians in this situation. While our trip to Europe we saw so many musicians ,in the train ,on the buses, in the public parks, its sad way to make a living.Thank you for following my site.Be blessed.jalal

Thank you for your compliment, Jalal.
Yes, here in Europe you find them everywhere – and sometimes they are really good…
…like the accordionist I photographed – and although he was standing on a famous square in the middle of town he was ignored by everyone.

Somehow I have the feeling that people only like guitar players that cannot sing, but try out some famous songs by Dylan, Cat Stevens or the Beatles…

Lonely indeed, I hope he enjoys his own music.

Thank you very much for your compliment.
I used the blacks and grays to blog out the people that were ignoring the music.

Even looks a bit like Astor Piazzola.

    1. rabirius Avatar

      Interesting association.

I will look for my Piazzola record and compare the images.

        Oblivion comes to mind.
I meant to ask, have you heard any more about Hasankeyf?

        1. rabirius Avatar

I’m afraid the prospects are not good. The lastest I heard was that the town is going to be flooded next year. Also, they didn’t manage to collect enough money for transferring some of the buildings to higher ground and therefore they want to do an underwater archaeological park.

          1. Arkenaten Avatar

I suspect this was the plan all along! Is the current situation effecting the proposed flooding?

          2. rabirius Avatar

I have no idea. The PKK said they wanted to sabotage the dam projects, but I think they haven’t done anything yet.
Probably the construction site of the dam is pretty well protected.
