Thank you, MV.
If Georgia is unfamiliar to you, I can only recommend a visit. It is an interesting country with a lot to discover.

Well, a little bit. But I think you do as well.
I still admire your photos of the Nicosia airport, by the way.

Yes, Tbilisi is really amazing. Though I heard there were flash floods last night and all the animals of the zoo broke free…

I saw references to that on AOL. I hope they’re able to capture them rather than just killing them. Poor scared creatures I’m sure.

I think they managed to catch most animals – however, a lot of them died when the flood hit the zoo.

I think people tend to forget the animals are affected by this stuff, too. I am glad they managed to get most of them though.

Yes. It was pretty bad.
I left a few days before it happened, by the way.

I actually hiked up the mountain. It is not too difficult and there are a couple more things one can see.

Sadly at the moment Tbilisi has its troubles. I hadn’t seen the news when I left my comment.

Yes, I know.
I also posted it shortly before I learned about it…
…and I left the city only a couple of days before the flood.

Well, I’m glad that you did. I hope that the rescue operation is going well there. It must be terrible to watch your life and your property wash away.

Yes, it must be really horrible.
I was once stuck in a hurricane (well, not directly, but in the general area) – that was already pretty terrible to watch. And I was just traveling, so I could leave with my small bag.

A very scenic town. I like your capture and editing, looks like infrared plus sepia filter.

Thank you very much.
Well, I have to admit, I apply the filters via software afterwards 🙂
