Who you gonna call?

Ghostbusters?
Well, they probably cannot help you with the car 🙂-
haha, well spotted.
-
I really liked the movie as a teenager – and I think I still have the 7″ somewhere 🙂
-
guys busting ghosts – that’s great material for a movie, what is the 7″?
-
Oh, there was the title track for the movie in the 1980s – and I liked it very much so I bought the single (or 7″) of the title track. But I first need to go through my singles to find out who sang it.

She is beautiful, this car ….

Yes, you can really see its history.
Love the colors. Do you know the old song “Car Trouble” or better known as “Car Trouble on a Lonely Road” by the Eligibles? It was first recorded in 1959, then released on a compilation album named “Shut Down” in 1963. It’s a fun song, and I still have the album “Shut Down”.

No, I have to admit I don’t know that song.
But I will see if I can find it somewhere.-
It’s available on Youtube.
-
Ah, okay. I’ll check it out.

That one needs only a hammer to fix him! 😛
-
Yes, in those days things were easier to repair.
Nice “Zhiguli”. This photo was probably taken somewhere in the former Soviet Union. Classic auto. Cheers 🙂

Thanks a lot.
Yes, you are correct – I took the photo in Kazakhstan.

Bedankt.
Oh dear, is that a Fiat 131 from the 70s? I had one. Not good at all.
-
Actually no. It is a Lada I think.
-
I just found it. It was based on a FIAT 124.
-
Ah, okay. Thank you, Barry.
I have to admit, that I don’t know much about cars. But I think these old Soviet cars have something I would describe as a special aura.

Is a Lada 1200. I’ve seen some still functional in Romania!
-
Yes, I you see them still in Eastern Europe. Also in Armenia and Georgia I saw them a lot.
I guess they are easy to fix and therefore there are still a lot of them around.
What a little treasure!
