Perhaps it’s more true in Essen than in other German cities.

Well, I’ve only been to Essen once. I went to a party there with a friend when I was living in Cologne. The friend fell in love (or maybe lust?) with a woman and they both vanished. And I somehow had to find my way back to Cologne in the middle of the night.

The women, of course, are in the kitchen.

No. They were in another version of the picture. But I deleted them because their poses did not fit to the interactions with the other elements of the picture. 🙂

You have to wonder what is on the lion’s mind or menu.

Vielen Dank, Ernst.
Nun, ob der Löwe schon gegessen hat, wirst Du vermutlich herausfinden, wenn Du nach einiger Zeit nochmals vorbeischaust. 🙂

The lions make this, Rabirius. The casual poses of the humans in contrast make this creation really compelling. Love your creativity in editing.

Love your creativity and sense of humor. The title alone would suggest a serious and somewhat scientific essay but then the picture tells it all. Perhaps the lions will eat the men?

Thanks a lot, Denise.
Yes, the title is – for me – as important as the picture itself. Sometimes I even work on a title for a very long time.
