Interesting the graphic and the colours. We like, it’s a little bit impressionistic.
Wishing you all the best. Keep well

Well, I recoloured the picture. 🙂

I got tired of the never ending search. A few years back I got rid of most of my home library of respectable size (maybe 150 books of religion and theology ) and don’t do this search anymore. Now I just am and read fiction adventure novels.

Well, I sorted my books according to size, so I could fit more in the cupboard. So if I’m looking for a particular book, it can be quite a search. 🙂

Your title reminded me of the Superman television series I watched as a child in the 1950s. The opening narration for each episode proclaimed that Superman “fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way.” You can see that intro beginning at 30 seconds into the video at [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0swAKS-5qA].

I think I have even seen re-runs of the show as a kid.
      Thanks for the reminder.

Heel erg bedankt. Leuk dat je de foto mooi vindt.
Het kostte me ook veel tijd om de afzonderlijke elementen in elkaar te passen.

I like the little story you found in my picture. It has just started to spin further in my head.

I enjoyed this image very much, and the comments too, are also quite interesting. Your comment “We are always searching something… And that search seems to never end” resonates deeply with me. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. I always put a lot of thought in my compositions, and I’m glad if someone finds the meanings I encoded in the pictures.

Painted with a palette knife. How do you do that, instead of having it look pixelated? Makes me think of classical paintings, but the clothes and bridges are totally modern. That’s plus, plus. Now for the minus – why always MEN? I like men just fine, but would like to see some women sometimes. (gripe gripe)

    1. rabirius Avatar

Well, the process for finishing these pictures is a bit complicated. I duplicate the picture when I finished the composite. Then I convert one version to a monochrome picture and paint over the other version with a virtual paint brush. Then I mix the two versions together and make some adjustments.
Why I use more men than women? Well, the reason is that I don’t have as many pictures of women than men where I have permission to use them for my art. So it is basically a legal matter. But some women pop up here and there. 🙂
