I know I haven’t posted anything new for a while. But for work and things I have to sit in front of computer screens for so long that I don’t like to spend a lot of time in front of a monitor at the moment. However, I go out a lot and also take photos and therefoe I have some new material for new composites. Maybe now, that winter is coming, there will be more posts. We will see…

But for now I have more for you than just a picture.

The Wind Is Still Whispering is not only a picture. It is also a new track by my band mockART, so there is also a video and further artwork. The original version of the track was released on a compilation and is only one minute long. As we thought it would be nice to listen to the track a while longer, we created an extended version and decided to release it as a single.

Do you sometimes have the feeling that the wind is whispering something in your ear? I do, and that was the inspiration for this project. As it is autumn – the windy season – in about one half of the world, it is also a somewhat seasonal project. There is probably something spooky about it as well, so we released everything in time for Halloween.

For the video I tried to capture the mood of the season and asked the ghostly woman from the picture to pass by from time to time. But see for yourself:

  1. It is great to see a new update from you. I can understand not wanting to sit in front of a monitor, especially as modern life often forces us to stare at screens for too long…

    Many congratulations on producing a new track with your band. As you say, sometimes we can feel the whisper of the autumn wind. I wish you a good autumn season.

  6. A powerful combination of image and sound. Works equally well with and without the female rape. The depth of the darkness with real soot blackness creates weight for the voice. Very successful!

    We have now Spotify as a way to listen to new stuff.
    I like both tracks.
    The second one seems to be more orginal Mockart! 😉
