I know that girl! The barefoot gran. Very apt glance at nature. Perfect for the winter solstice. May your New Year be green and joyful!

Oh my goodness, this is a beautiful and complex image. I just spent a few minutes googling Kale, who I’d never heard of. After a lot of salad, I finally found the goddess. Need time to read about her. And this is going to be an image I’ll have to revisit many times.

Thanks a lot. And I’m happy that you like the image so much.
To give you a hint, Kale is one of the three Charites (or “Graces”).

I love how your images leave the story-telling to the viewer!

Thanks again.
Well, mostly there is a story that I create with my pictures. But as they are somewhat abstract as well, the views sometimes see another story. I find that very interesting to hear what other people make of the pictures. Sometimes they get totally different stories and I really like that some people find something totally different.

As always….your art makes the viewer stop and create a story from what they see!! Very powerful! Happy New Year to you and yours!! Keep up the great work!!

I’ve decided I like kale quite a bit ~ and the contrast between the two beautiful scenes/women is perfect…

As a native English speaker, I couldn’t help but think first of kale, the vegetable (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kale). Perhaps you can include the plant as an element in future pictures of Kale the goddess.

Well, as she is Greek, I think she doesn’t really have a lot to do with Kale 🙂

Of course she doesn’t, but it’s fun to play around with words.
