“They come from the land of the ice and snow. From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow. Hammer of the gods…” And horses of the gods.

      Thank you, Timothy.
That was from Led Zeppelin III I guess. I haven’t put on my old Led Zep records for ages, but I still remember that line. 🙂

I still listen to Led Zeppelin.

As I have just said, I used to listen to them a lot, back when I was learning guitar. Now I usually go for the later Led Zeppelin albums like “Presence” for example.

Listened to Zeppelin this morning – and the quote from Tim fits this piece of yours perfectly.
I have a bunch of different playlists, and Zeppelin is well-represented throughout, so I think it is impossible for me not to stop listening to them 😂.

I used to listen to them a lot when I started to play guitar. I was especially fond of Whole Lotta Love back then, because, when you play guitar, the riff is really clever. But I’ve listened to the old albums so often back then that now, when I play Led Zeppelin, I usually go for something like “Presence”.

Fool in the Rain is the one Zeppelin song that has stood with me since I first heard it – and I imagine you must have had a great time with their music, and yeah, Whole Lotta Love has a riff that today still evokes chills 🙂

Yes. In fact I know everything. I think you could buy them all as nice price pressings back in the day or find them second hand. That is what I did back then. Fool in the Rain I remember as well, though I haven’t listened to the album for ages. A good idea to do that today.

Once again, a bleak, cold wind is blowing through Europe.

Please Tell Bores to take his cold winds back north a week of minus 10 F degrees is no fun , with wind chills of minus 20 and now no hot water and frozen pipes , he can go back home. please.

    1. rabirius Avatar

Well, it seems Boreas is storming all over the northern hemisphere right now. But 10 F sounds pretty grim. So hopefully he will make room for some warm spring winds.

Thank you. I really took an effort to symbolise the cold wind of the north coming down the mountains.

I like this “God” a lot better than the next one! Brr! Alive! (vs. a head on a stick)
… And in a business suit! A god of our times!

Thank you. Well, he brings the cold weather…
…I’m not really made for that. I like it warm. 🙂
