In Myths, ancient tales unfold in the present day. Figures like the Minotaur, Lycaon, Circe, Phaeton, and Narcissus are transported from the realm of antiquity into modern contexts, where their symbolic power takes on new forms. Each image is a carefully constructed composite, built from multiple photographs that are seamlessly merged. Over these digital foundations, further layers add depth, texture, and atmosphere — with at least one layer painted directly in the photo program using “digital paint.” The result is a fusion of photography and painterly intervention that blurs the boundaries between myth, memory, and the contemporary moment.
