Into the Wilderness: Expositions in Lich, Homberg (Ohm) and Frankfurt

Trying to Hide

It’s been a while since my last post, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been inactive as an artist. Over the past months, I’ve been working on a new series of images that I’ll be sharing here soon. I’ve also been busy with the upcoming mockART album, created from material we recorded during last year’s live show — among other projects.

Today, though, I’m excited to announce that my works are part of several exhibitions, and I’d love to meet you there!

Yes, sadly everyone is living too far away.

That’s a cute picture of the pink cockatoo peeking out at us.

It’s good to remind ourselves that the English word animal goes back to Latin anima, whose many meanings were ‘air, breeze, breath,’ and ultimately ‘breath of life,’ and therefore ‘spirit, soul.’

    1. rabirius Avatar

That is indeed interesting. I didn’t know that, though I learned Latin ages ago, I forgot most about it.

      1. Steve Schwartzman Avatar

Maybe this will animate you to review your Latin, along with etymology more generally.

        1. rabirius Avatar

Actually, I was recently thinking of reading a bit in Latin Book. But I didn’t find it…
