    I really like the way the lines through the vegetation on the lower slopes pull the eye into the centre of this picture- animal tracks maybe?

      I’m not sure if they are animal traces – I think it is more from the wind. But the b&w makes them stand out a lot more than in the original colour version.

      It’s really worth visiting…
      …though you have to hurry – it will most likely be buried under a dam soon. (I wrote another piece about Hasankeyf with more detail about that.)
