Some years ago my brother hired some workman to replace his dilapidated garden fence. My twin nephews, who were about 7 at the time, placed some garden chairs and acquired some food and drink, so that they could comfortably watch the proceedings.
Even the workman realised that it was innocent and continued with smiles and waves. The rest of us just got the giggles. You can get away with so much at that age without anybody, who is sensible, taking offense. 🙂
