Nice! It looks like a piece of machine from a science fiction movie, about to beam a laser into outer space, with the clouds just starting to circle round it ominously in suspense.

Yes, some of the monuments in Kazakhstan really look like from a science fiction movie – and especially Astana. But it was too far away so I couldn’t visit the capital.
