A very nice photograph showing the dangerous position in which so many people have to live and have to face the effects of global warming (some president on this globe not believing such a thing is taking place).

        Thank you.
Yes, the little effects we see are part of something with a far bigger impact.

Wonderful to see the exposed root system below Rabirius.. A labyrinth of intricate roots anchoring while searching for nourishment.. <3

      Thank you.
Yes, it is quite astonishing – but with the dry summer, a lot of rivers run very low here.

Yes around 40 miles away is a reservoir that when built flooded a village.. It is called LadyBower Dam… ( famous for the Dambusters film about WWII..) it is so low this year that the village that was flooded is now showing again. We here in the UK had a very dry hot summer.

There also is a reservoir here where the town was exposed due to the dry summer. But it was a bit too far away for a day trip. 🙂

Its been a bad year for drought in places where others have had flood.. Its not stopped raining for around four days here.. so Autumn back to normal.. 🙂

          2. rabirius Avatar

Well, here it is gray and rainy as well today… 🙂

So beautiful, and it makes me think of Angkor Wat.

      Thank you, Halim.
I only know pictures of Angkor Wat – but I remember the roots.

Your Brain! Once again: a title that causes me to realize what I’m looking at! (if you ever see an image of mine that you’d like to play with and slap a title on, please tell me – cause half the time I have no idea what is really going on.)

    1. rabirius Avatar

      Thank you, Kim.
Well, if I find a title for one of your images, I’ll let you know.

Reminding me of Arthur Rackham. Keep looking for wood spirits & fairies.

    1. rabirius Avatar

Well, I didn’t see any fairies there. 🙂

You need an Cottingley Lens for the camera. 😉

        1. rabirius Avatar

I need a lot more lenses for my camera…
…sadly they are not really cheap. 🙂
