Rabirius, the powers to be are the puppeteers, the ‘leaders’ their puppets. Exceptional use of artful words and photography!

Good title for not just chess or other board games, but also for the despotic leaders and politicians of our world, Rabirius!

Thank you, Peter.

Caught in details: the chair floats, the glass is empty! I am always seeking enlightenment. Lovely composition.

Yes, there are quite a few things to discover here. 🙂
Thank you for your compliments.

I like this. When I hover the mouse over it on the main page, it goes to a black and white version, which makes me think this would make a very nice monochrome image as well.
-
Thank you.
Well, actually this is a monochrome picture that I coloured again afterwards. As I did so many monochrome pictures recently I felt it is time for some colour. And the process of colouring the photo is and interesting new field to experiment with. 🙂

People on a table are looking like chess. Like in real life somebody moves us around.

Well, there probably is someone pulling the stings.

I thought initially that he was setting up a home movie using miniatures. 🙂 🙂 Makes a great scene!

Well, he is the master. 🙂
Thank you, Johanna.

More interesting work than that of the ‘maker’ of puppets! 🙂

Well, some puppeteers can be quite resourceful. 🙂

Sure! 🙂

Yes, who’s moving us? Or are there many movers?

Well, it probably depends where you are. 🙂

So powerful, Rabirius. Just sitting here looking at it my heart got flooded but I’m not even sure with what! Interesting. The man’s serious, expression…the animal heads on the people….it’s just really cool. Cheers! 💕

Thanks a lot. I’m so glad you like the picture.
