As you might now, Christoph and I recently released a new CD with our music project mockART called Men Who Lost Their Heads. As we are very happy with our new album, we gave you a chance to win the new album.

To take part you had to listen to the album on Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Tidal, Bandcamp or YouTube and tell us which track you liked best.

The winners of the CDs have been notified now and the CDs are in the post.

The the top 5 titles are:

  1. Betörve

  3. The Earth is Flat Now
  4. Master Mason
  5. Lizard People

If you didn’t win the CD you can still buy it or listen to the album on your favourite streaming service. The album is also available as a cassette released by the Chilean label Templo Sagital: Men Who Lost Their Heads.

    Ich bin grade am Hören, Rabirius!
    Meine Frau mag das “Experimentelle” nicht so, ich umso mehr.
    Für mich klingt das Ergebnis sehr gut.
    Sehr gediegen wie ich meine..

      Ja, schön, dass es Dir gefällt.
      Du kannst ja auch gern an dem Wettbewerb teilnehmen, dann bekommst Du auch die CD Version.

        Ich denke, mehrfaches Hören wäre hier “Pflicht”.
        Bin nicht mehr unbedingt Anhänger von Stimmen (obwohl ich vor 10 jahren auch Songwriter sammelte, klaus Hofmann zb).

        Sties unlängst auf einen Six-Pack “Anthology of noise and…”
        Meine Frau ist gerade beim Zahnarzt, da kann ich endlich mal gut reinhören…

          Ja, im Noise-Bereich gibt es auch einiges, das mir gefällt.
          Ich höre eigentlich alles mögliche – zum Ende das Jahres werde ich auch wieder meine Lieblingsplatten des Jahres kurz vorstellen. Diesmal ist es auch eher älteres Zeug, da mir viele Neuerscheinungen nicht so gut gefallen haben.

            Das klingt gut.
            Ich hörte mal Harry Lachner, oft zu Keramikarbeiten. Diese Sendung haben die irgendwann gestrichen. Ich hatte mich damals beim Sender beschwert to no avail.

            Ich höre meist Platten oder CDs.
            Neulich habe ich das eizige Album von Zweistein entdeckt – läuft unter Krautrock, sind aber eher abgedrehte Klangkollagen.

    Haré lo posible por participar en el concurso. Y tienes razón, es una buena noticia lo del sello chileno. La buscaré porque vivo en Santiago. Ahora mismo estoy cumpliendo una cuarentena por haber venido de viaje del exterior. Así que, en cuanto termine, lo buscaré. La portada (En las escaleras), está genial. Buen fin de semana
