Je trouve le traitement en parfaite harmonie avec son regard triste.

I didn’t realise there were any bonobos in zoos, I thought they were quite hard to find. Very interesting species, and what an expressive face.
-
Well, in Frankfurt you can find them…
…but I don’t know about other zoos. But I’m not really a specialist when it comes to bonobos. I just happened to pass by 🙂

We don’t know what meaans to belong to the Genus Pan.
But collectively we propose a new title: The Bonobo is an ape that belongs to the species of philosophers. 😎
For its expression sure shows wisdom.

As far as I know, only two species belong to the Genus Pan – the other one is the Chimpanzee.
Thank you for proposing an alternative title. I will take it into advisement 🙂

Thanks for your good humor in listening to our silly suggestions.
BTW, have you mentioned Frankfurt ? That explains a lot: Germany is a land of philosophers. This is why the Bonobo, an ape philosopher, could be raised in a German zoo. 😎
-
Well, I think the German philosophers pretty much died out…
…probably the Bonobos are the last ones you can find here 🙂-

Or for fans of Descartes: ‘I Feel, Therefore I Am’

Yes, at least for now.
I think caged monkeys usually go crazy, sooner or later.
