    Your photo intrigued me so much that I had to Google Vahanavak. Is somebody camping there, or they just prayed for a really long time? Terrific shot!

      I think the monastery is not operational anymore. But you can find a lot of monasteries and churches like this in Armenia and the people bring candles and posters with holy images. But I guess they are more praying for themselves there and there is no official service.
      If you like that, I can really recommend visiting Armenia – and you will see a lot of impressive old churches in beautiful landscapes.
