      Well, at least they’re Turkish turkeys – so they probably don’t have to worry about Thanksgiving and Xmas.

        Well, I don’t suppose Turkish turkeys are entirely save – but at least there isn’t a holiday they need to be afraid of 🙂

      Yes, this was done in Dara in South-Eastern Turkey.

    rabirius, this is disturbing like Francis Bacon’s paintings are unsettling on a deeply subconscious level. it’s as though the turkeys have become birds of prey themselves.

      …I can imagine that country life in South Eastern Turkey is quite similar.
      It was taken in Dara, between Mardin and the Syrian border.
