Poor Turkeys. First Thanksgiving and now almost Christmas … 😀
Well, at least they’re Turkish turkeys – so they probably don’t have to worry about Thanksgiving and Xmas.
Indeed I saw different Turkeys …. 😀
Well, I don’t suppose Turkish turkeys are entirely save – but at least there isn’t a holiday they need to be afraid of 🙂
Where did you take this one? In Turkey? 😉 Fabulous capture!
Yes, this was done in Dara in South-Eastern Turkey.
Thanks for the compliment!
You are most welcome, Rabirius 🙂
Thank you, Alois.
hard times now for turkeys
Yes, most likely…
I think I ate his brother ….
Then be careful, in case the other turkeys will come to haunt you 🙂
They would have to walk a LONG way! :8>
Poor turkeys. Still, they have it WAY better than chickens
In Dara, where I took the pictures, they at least, could run around freely…
rabirius, this is disturbing like Francis Bacon’s paintings are unsettling on a deeply subconscious level. it’s as though the turkeys have become birds of prey themselves.
…I never thought of myself has Bacon – but managing to cause the same emotions in the viewers makes me very proud.
Thank you very much for that compliment!
Like it. Nice texture.
Thank you very much, Thomas.
The ‘casual’ colouring makes me laugh…
Muchas gracias, Rosa.
Amazing scenario, Rabirius.
Thanks a lot, Hanna!
Certain shared tones do little to separate the mistress from the flock. A spectacular, and haunting shot!
Thank you very much, Patti!
I like the wild turkeys, Annie
Thank you Annie – especially in the name of the turkeys.
you reminded me, of the country life, in Romania
…I can imagine that country life in South Eastern Turkey is quite similar.
It was taken in Dara, between Mardin and the Syrian border.
Reblogged this on Maître Renard.
Thanks for reblogging.
