Poor Turkeys. First Thanksgiving and now almost Christmas … 😀
-
Well, at least they’re Turkish turkeys – so they probably don’t have to worry about Thanksgiving and Xmas.
-
Indeed I saw different Turkeys …. 😀
-
Well, I don’t suppose Turkish turkeys are entirely save – but at least there isn’t a holiday they need to be afraid of 🙂

Poor turkeys. Still, they have it WAY better than chickens

In Dara, where I took the pictures, they at least, could run around freely…

rabirius, this is disturbing like Francis Bacon’s paintings are unsettling on a deeply subconscious level. it’s as though the turkeys have become birds of prey themselves.
-
…I never thought of myself has Bacon – but managing to cause the same emotions in the viewers makes me very proud.
Thank you very much for that compliment!

Certain shared tones do little to separate the mistress from the flock. A spectacular, and haunting shot!

Thank you Annie – especially in the name of the turkeys.

you reminded me, of the country life, in Romania
-
…I can imagine that country life in South Eastern Turkey is quite similar.
It was taken in Dara, between Mardin and the Syrian border.
