      • Haha!
I’m in a ski town in Melbourne till Friday.
Yesterday was so beautiful. Today? OMG!
Its windy and pouring with rain. Lol
Ski season is over anyway. So we can be cold together…want a cup of tea? Lol hugs xxx

      • I didn’t knew you had ski towns in Melbourne – I thought even in winter it isn’t that cool over there.
I hope I will see some pictures – it sounds interesting.

Then enjoy the rest of your trip!

Yes, a hot cup of tea would be lovely, thanks.

        Greetings,

      • Made it, was it too strong? Lol

Its about 5/ 6 hour drive from Melbourne city.
Unfortunately no snow on the mountains as its spring! I’ll post some photos when I get home.

      • You’re using digital layering in a painterly fashion, without ignoring the digital aesthetic. There are not many digital artists who are comfortable working with the raw medium of digital itself–most aim for that kind of homogenized, glossy 3D illusionism that mimics photography.

        Bravo to you!

      • Thank you.
When I process my photos I usually go for an artificial look – otherwise I would probably just post the photo (which I do from time to time, actually, because most of the montages need a lot of time to find the right mix of the layers).

        Greetings,

      • I hear you. My MFA work has been on leaving the digital aesthetic (and anti-aesthetic) as its own, raw self. If I want hyper realism, I’ll use a camera. 😀

Your work definitely exhibits great agency and planning, with the kind of spontaneity that comes from letting surprise interactions remain. Keep up the good work.
