Just wondering… if the black on the left… were some shade of green… if the the optical vibration affect might have been enhanced. Otherwise… a very arresting work.

Well, in fact I wanted to get a strong focus on the flower and therefore I created the shadow. With green, you wouldn’t notice the shadow so much – I tried this as well.
